6. External APIs

Our website uses the following third-party APIs exclusively via server-side route handlers. No personal data (such as IP addresses) of website visitors is transmitted to the respective API providers.

a) Geocoding with photon.komoot.io

To convert location names into geographic coordinates, we use the API provided by photon.komoot.io, operated by Komoot GmbH (Germany). Communication with this service takes place solely from our server.

b) Weather data from weatherapi.com

For displaying weather information, we use the API from weatherapi.com (OPLAO FZCO, Dubai). All requests are performed server-side, and no personal data from visitors is shared with the service.
